My Experience

I have 7 years’ experience working in mental health settings; both inpatient and community, working with both adults, children, and adolescents. I qualified as a CBT Therapist in 2020 and have been working with young people and families in Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) since then. I have supported clients with a wide range of mental health needs, including Depression, Anxiety, Panic Disorder, PTSD, OCD, Social Phobia, Specific Phobia’s, Separation Anxiety and Generalised Anxiety. I have also supported people with more enduring mental health problems, including Personality Disorders and Psychosis.

My Values

I have a passion for helping people manage their mental health, empowering them with the tools to be resilient and to live a full and meaningful life that is in line with their values. I understand how scary and overwhelming it can be sharing your experiences with another person. I strongly believe that therapy is not a place for judgement or opinions, and instead I provide a safe and trusting space where you can openly and comfortably discuss your difficulties. I believe that you are the expert, you know yourself better than anyone, and my role is to facilitate the changes that you wish to make in order for your experience of life to be a positive one.

The models I work with

My core therapy training is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) but I sometimes blend in elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and DNA-V (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Adolescents).
