My experience

I have worked with children, young people, and families for the past 25 years across various fields, both in the voluntary sector and within the NHS. I am a fully qualified CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) therapist, accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I also have extensive experience supporting children, young people, and families facing loss or dealing with bereavement.

I have experience with a range of mental health conditions such as panic disorder, depression, generalised anxiety disorder, specific phobias, separation anxiety, social phobia, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder).

My values

I am passionate about supporting children and young people, and feel fortunate to be able to do the work I do.

My strengths lie in building positive relationships, which allows me to effectively collaborate with your child to understand the difficulties and barriers they may be facing. CBT is about teamwork, so together we will make progress towards goals and foster positive change.

The models I work with

I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and incorporate tools from mindfulness.

Clinic information

I work with children and young people aged 8 to 18. My sessions are conducted remotely/virtually, Monday to Friday during the day, with two late evening sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, until 7 p.m.

I can also see children and young people in person, at schools and colleges within the Lichfield, Staffordshire area.
