My Values
I value working collaboratively with clients, bringing my expertise in using psychological models to help make sense of difficulties, while acknowledging the expertise a person holds in their own experiences. I am curious about people’s background, cultural & family values and adapt my approach accordingly to align with these. I offer a compassionate and non-judgemental space by fostering safety in the relationship and recognise a person’s courage in coming to therapy. I feel it’s important to follow my client’s lead and work at their pace.
The Models I Work With
I am trained in a variety of models as a Clinical Psychologist, drawing from these to provide targeted support to meet the needs and preferences of my clients. I have additional training in EMDR and Compassion Focused Therapy to support with a range of difficulties. I am also an accredited Video Interaction Guidance practitioner and Circle of Security Parenting facilitator and can apply these approaches to support around confidence in parenting and breaking cycles of intergenerational trauma.
