My Experience

I’m a qualified Clinical Psychologist and CBT Therapist with experience supporting people of all ages, including children, young people, and adults. I currently work within the NHS in a Children and Young People’s Mental Health service.

My clinical experience spans a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties in both adults and young people.  This includes anxiety (including panic, phobias and social anxiety), low mood, OCD and those who have experienced trauma.

I’m also trained in Video-feedback Intervention to Promote Positive Parenting and Sensitive Discipline (VIPP-SD), a short-term, preventive approach designed for caregivers of children aged 1 to 6. I delivered and researched this intervention within a perinatal service, supporting parents in reflecting on their interactions and gaining a better understanding of the world through their child’s eyes.

My Values

I aim to bring empathy, warmth, and genuine acceptance to my work with you. My approach is to work together to help you make sense of your experiences and challenges and to find ways forward that align with what matters most to you (or your child). I recognise that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, so I strive to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and non-judgemental.

We’ll shape our work together so it suits your needs, goals, and pace. I believe it’s important to understand each person within their wider social, cultural, and neurodiverse context. My hope is to support you in building insight, confidence, and skills that continue to help you long after therapy ends.

The Models I Work With

I predominantly use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) informed skills, narrative, and solution-focused approaches.  We can discuss together what works best for you when we first meet.

Clinic Information

I currently run a clinic in Hursley, Winchester, on Saturday mornings, and I also offer virtual appointments. For anyone considering VIPP-SD, home visits can be arranged if preferred. I work with individuals aged 11 and above, and for VIPP-SD specifically, I can work with children aged 0–6 years.
