Have you ever wondered what is the meaning of life? Have you ever found yourself pondering why am I here, what is my purpose or who am I? These are common, normal and understandable questions we, as human beings, may ask at times in our lives. It is normal to be curious about the direction life is taking us, to think about the purpose of life and it's meaning. However, at times, these questions we pose ourselves may start to feel overwhelming, confusing and bewildering. It may become preoccupying and get in the way of other aspects of your life. For example, you may notice that you are not enjoying the activities that you used to enjoy or that you find yourself feeling distracted and unable to be fully present in the moment.

Over the course of life we can become 'stuck' in particular ways of thinking about life, about problems and how to move forward in the world. This can leave us feeling that there are only a few options open, which may leave you feeling helpless, trapped or simply wondering what the point of it all is.

Existential therapy works with you to offer a broader perspective, alternative understanding and options to current problems. It is an exploratory and collaborative therapy that aims to understand and develop our own individual journeys in life and the meaning and sense we make of these journeys.
